Reflecting over a busy week of events…
November 7, 2010Time to sit with a glass of wine and reflect on a busy week of tasting events.
Faouzi, Domaine des Tourelles wine maker and son of one of the owners, was in the UK to accompany us at the tastings. Barrica’s tasting was as fun as normal…Jane’s customers have become our friends and we enjoyed introducing them to Faouzi. The two London events were also well attended. The Wines of Lebanon tasting brought some of the best of Lebanon all under one roof…the sound of lively arabic and laughter drifted over a jam packed room full of wine enthusiasts from the trade and media. The Wine Gang event was a real treat with Domaine des Tourelles’s Red 2007 a real focus of conversation and interest. Borough Wines also hosted a tasting…an amazing shop full of interesting wines and people… surely a record must be had for the amount of our wines sold in such a short period of time!
What a wonderful week to start off the run to Christmas…bring on the tastings (and carols)!!
